4TH OF JULY, A tribute to our country, it's people & My cousin Garron's Birthday. I spent the first part of the afternoon in the heat with my cousin's who came down to visit  from Arizona. They left 112 degree weather to chill in 88 degree weather. Pretty good trade off, if you ask me.

 We went to check out Downtown La Mesa which was practically a ghost town because all the shops took off for the day except for this restaurant & bar.  

They were serving up some bomb Gelato Ice Cream. The apple pie flavor was spot on with the real thing.

There caramel on this apple is probably some of the best I've ever had! No Joke! The Caramel's consistency was just right to dissolve rather than getting stuck in your teeth for the rest of the meal. Not this time!
